Your Natal Chart & this Full Moon in Aries

First thing first. If you want to know where New + Full Moons are occurring in your specific chart, you’ll need to pull your chart here if you don’t have it already. You can also learn much more about your Natal Chart through the Intro To Astro Course (included in this membership).

You’ll notice the numbers outside of the wheel. This is the degree of your House Cusps. Every sign has 30 degrees, 0 to 29. Like I mention in the Intro To Astro Course, I use Equal Houses, which means that every House Cusp is at the same degree.

This Full Moon occurs in Aries at 27 degrees. So, for example, if you have Aries on your 6th House Cusp at 06 degrees, this Full Moon would fall in your 6th House. However, if you have Taurus, let’s say, at 03 degrees on your 6th House Cusp, you’ll actually have this Full Moon in your 5th House

This adds a layer of interpretation for how this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (and all upcoming lunations) will affect you personally.

Danielle’s Aries Full Moon Reflection

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
H. Jackson Brown Jr., P.S. I Love You

Finally. Finally. We have some forward movement. After months in a Retrograde slog, Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter and Mercury are Direct, leaving just Uranus and Neptune in seemingly backwards motion. And, lo and behold, this leads us to a feisty Aries Moon, ready at the start.

The Sun and Mars are dancing with one another in Libra, inviting us into collaboration. The Moon is in assertive Aries and all are square Pluto in Capricorn, unearthing the shadow that keeps us vacillating or torn between the two, rather than grounded in our own authentic power, navigating the world with that six sense and inner knowing.

We have lost the plot, globally speaking. The world seems ever more in chaos. We seem in dire need of collective and individual purpose beyond the material and mundane; the lack of a greater framework has left us spiritually bereft and exhausted. I’m not sure this is actually new. The difference is the cacophony of technological interconnectedness that has rendered us anywhere but here. The answers, of course, are never out there. But they’re also not found in a vacuum, siloed off. Living solely for ourselves will leave us empty and lonely. Living solely for another will leave us adrift and unanchored.

This Aries Full Moon, after months of stagnation, may reveal bouts of aggression and anger. All that passive aggressiveness coming to a head. The underbelly (Pluto) underneath the niceties (Libra) exposed.

All this is to say that the world is a giant mess. There’s no putting the genie back in bottle. The more we try to codify or contain it, the messier it will become.

Feeling the need to break free, but entangled? Such is the human condition. And with three of the four Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra, Capricorn) so heavily featured, we’re up against some mighty beasts: namely the shifting winds of history, the passage of time. These things we cannot change. What we can change is our actions, our willingness to dance with life, to take the bull by the horns.

Cardinal signs are anything but passive. This is the time for action. Said action does not mean immediate results, but it does mean feedback. We take the stride, we learn, we take another, forging our self esteem in the process.

Are you feeling the call to take the reins in your life? How is this energy showing up in your life?

FULL MOON RITUAL

I recommend exploring the below thematic suggestions and then taking the time to write, on separate paper, all of your limiting beliefs, fears, anxieties and negative self-talk and either burn, shred or rip them up. Then in the space allowed, allow for a blessing of light, that only that which is for the highest good be brought forward.

JOURNAL PROMPTS

How do I relate to the idea of control?

Do I feel like I have “control” in my life?

Do I feel like I crave more, (or less), “control” in my life?

Underneath this desire, can I articulate what it is I’m craving? i.e. less responsibility, more structure, more freedom, etc

Is there an action I can take that can help support me in achieving this desired inner experience?

How can I support myself in taking this step?
